We are pleased to announce that the acquisition of the assets of Congoleum Acquisition LLC, operating as Congoleum Flooring, has been formally and successfully closed.
All conditions agreed upon between the parties have been fully satisfied, and all required closing documentation has been duly executed.
As of November 14th, 2025, Congoleum Flooring is officially part of Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.).
This acquisition marks an important milestone in B.I.G.’s growth strategy and reinforces our long-term commitment to the North American market. Congoleum Flooring—founded in 1886 and recognized as a pioneer in resilient vinyl flooring—brings a strong product offering, valuable patents, and deep industry expertise. With production facilities in Marcus Hook (PA) and Cedarhurst (MD), and a team of approximately 270 employees, the company adds significant manufacturing capacity and commercial strength to B.I.G.’s global flooring activities.
As CEO Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck stated, this transaction is a clear demonstration of B.I.G.’s continued ambition to expand and innovate in key growth segments, following a period of strategic focus on strengthening our portfolio.
The current Congoleum Flooring team will remain in place, and business operations will continue uninterrupted as we begin the integration phase.
